What do I need to bring?

We provide lined gallon buckets for you to fill as you pick. You may want to bring an ice chest with ice to help cool your berries as quickly as possible. This helps extend the shelf life of the berries.

You may also want to wear a hat and/or sunscreen if you’re bothered by the sun. And we strongly suggest you wear closed-toe shoes.

Do you have restrooms?

We’re sorry, but we do not have any public restrooms. Please plan accordingly.

Can we bring our dog/cat/raccoon along?

Please do not bring any pets with you when you come to pick.

Can I bring kids?

YES! We would love to welcome your whole family to enjoy a fun day of picking! We do ask that you please keep a close eye on them, as this is a working farm and we cannot allow visitors outside the designated picking area.

Are there snakes?

While we cannot say that we have never seen snakes out here — it is very rare that we see one where people are — they’re pretty shy. We do have fire ants, however, and as hard as we try to control them, a mound may develop that we are unaware of, so please watch where you and your children are standing. Shoes are a must! We have never, ever, seen a crocodile in the berry field.

How much do you charge for the berries?

We charge $10 per level gallon bucket or $3 per clamshell quart.
